Dr Gunjan Garg

Dr Gunjan Garg is a Clinical Geneticist, Staff Specialist at Liverpool Hospital and Conjoint Lecturer at the University of New South Wales. She graduated from the University of Newcastle and completed her Basic Physician Training at Royal North Shore Hospital. Having undertaken specialist genetics training at Liverpool, Royal North Shore, and Sydney Children’s Hospital Network, Dr Garg sees both adults and paediatric patients. She has a breadth of experience in working with individuals from different backgrounds and diagnosing genetic conditions specific to certain ethnic groups.

During her training, Dr Garg also worked in sub-specialty multidisciplinary clinics namely the Neuromuscular clinic at Prince of Wales Hospital and the Neurofibromatosis clinic at Royal North Shore Hospital. Dr Garg also trained with the Familial Cancer Service at Westmead Hospital.

Outside of work, Gunjan enjoys exploring the hidden corners of country New South Wales, being by the harbour, and travelling.
