Frequently Asked Questions

As we have a number of specialists and practitioners consulting at Children’s Health Hub, consultation fees vary considerably depending on your child’s needs. Our reception team will be happy to explain fees to you.

We will require full payment for all appointments at least 72 business hours prior to confirm the appointment. Failure to submit payment within this timeframe will result in appointment cancellation.

Depending on your type and level of cover you may be able to claim back a portion of the fees. We will claim the Medicare rebate on your behalf but you will need to process any private insurance claims separately.

We accept payments by debit card, Visa, or Mastercard (AMerican Express not accepted). Please note, we accept payments via cash, but limited change is kept on the premises.

Appointment duration will vary, but each appointment is generally allocated 30-60 minutes.
Reports from our doctors will be shared to you via the Clinic to Cloud Patient Portal. You will be granted access via your linked email/phone number at the time of booking your child’s first appointment.

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, you are required to give 3 full business days’ notice. Otherwise, a cancellation fee may apply.

When you book an appointment, the practitioner reserves the time, especially for you. It is very difficult for us to allocate time to a different patient at short notice. Therefore, we would appreciate as much notice as possible so we can offer the appointment to another patient.
